How to combat strongholds [in your own thinking]:

"The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish [our own] arguments and every pretension [in our own minds/attitudes] that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, so we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ."

2 Cor 6:2

"In the time of my favor I heard you, and in the day of salvation I helped you." I tell you, now is the time of God's favor, now is the day of salvation.
